Throughout history, society has been structured in a way that the state barely existed in the day to day lives of citizens. Only in times of war would the state become relevant in the lives of most people.
Instead, it was family and the local community that worked together to support each other and to ensure that the different needs of local groups were met and protected.
Equitoria returns to this approach by recognising the importance of family and community, keeping the state out of the day to day affairs of people except where absolutely necessary for state level decision making and then it is the citizens who make the devisions.
